BPC-157 + TB-500 20mg, often called the Wolverine blend, combines two of the most studied research peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, in one pre-filled research pen. Each pen contains 10 mg of each compound. Every Wolverine blend is prepared to order in the UK and shipped cold chain by tracked delivery.

BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4 have separate preclinical literatures and act through different pathways, which is why laboratories study them side by side. Read BPC-157 vs TB-500 for a fuller comparison, and peptide stacks explained for how research blends are put together. For a blend that also includes GHK-Cu, see GLOW or KLOW.

Blend composition

BPC-157 10 mg · Synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide
TB-500 10 mg · Synthetic thymosin beta-4 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ)
Total 20 mg in one pre-filled research pen

How each component is studied

The two peptides in the Wolverine blend act through different pathways in laboratory studies:

  • BPC-157 is a stable 15-amino-acid sequence derived from a gastric protein. Cell and rat studies have examined it in models of blood-vessel growth, VEGFR2 signalling and tendon fibroblast migration.
  • TB-500 is a synthetic seven-amino-acid fragment of thymosin beta-4 (Ac-LKKTETQ), the region of the protein that binds actin. The fragment and the full protein are studied in models of cell migration and new blood-vessel formation.

5 key research areas

  1. Angiogenesis and vascular signalling. BPC-157 has been linked to VEGFR2 activation, and thymosin beta-4 has been examined in animal models of new blood-vessel growth.
  2. Cell migration and actin dynamics. Thymosin beta-4 and its LKKTETQ motif bind actin in cells. BPC-157 has been studied for its effect on how tendon fibroblasts spread and migrate.
  3. Tendon and connective-tissue models. BPC-157 research includes rat tendon explant and fibroblast studies, and reviews of musculoskeletal soft-tissue models.
  4. Cardiac cell models. In mice, thymosin beta-4 activated integrin-linked kinase and was studied for its effect on cardiomyocyte migration and survival.
  5. Skin wound models. Both compounds appear in preclinical work on skin wound models in rats and mice.

These references describe laboratory and animal research on the individual compounds. None of them studied the Wolverine blend, and none is evidence of safety or effect in humans.

Why a single-batch blend

  • Both compounds come from one batch, under one batch reference
  • One Certificate of Analysis will cover the whole blend once independent testing is complete
  • Fewer handling steps than preparing two separate compounds
  • Consistent composition from one order to the next
